Is it legal?
Yes. Ashleigh's Organics CBD Body Butter is fully legal in the UK and EU. We use CBD extract derived from certified industrial hemp, which contains less than 0.2% THC the psychoactive compound in cannabis. It won't get you high. It won't show up on a drug test. It is a cosmetic product, not a controlled substance.
Will it get me high?
No. There is no THC in this product, or only trace amounts within the legal limit. You cannot get high from a CBD body butter. The only thing it does is support your skin and calm the inflammation underneath it.
Is CBD safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin?
Yes, that's exactly what it was made for. CBD has well-documented anti-inflammatory properties and works with the receptors in your skin that control itch and irritation. Combined with organic coconut oil (which most skin types absorb without reacting to), the formula is specifically designed for skin that has been failed by everything else. If you've reacted to other products in the past, it's almost always the synthetic fragrance, preservatives, or fillers — none of which are in this jar.
Why is it oil-based and not water-based?
Because your skin is waterproof. Water-based creams sit on the surface and evaporate within minutes, often pulling your skin's natural moisture out as they go. Oil-based formulas absorb into the waterproof layer of your skin because oil and skin are chemically similar. That's why one application of Ashleigh's lasts hours, not the six reapplications a day most creams need.
How much should I use, and how often?
A fingertip's worth is enough for one area. A little goes a long way, 230ml lasts 2-3 months with daily use. Use it once or twice a day, or whenever your skin or joints need it. There's no such thing as "too much", it's a 100% natural oil, it won't build up or cause harm.
How long until I see results?
Most people feel a difference within hours, the tightness, itch, or ache starts to ease on contact. Visible skin changes usually show within a week. Deeper effects on chronic pain or long-term skin issues typically build over 2-4 weeks of consistent use. If you don't see results in 30 days, we refund you. No questions asked.

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. We don't ask questions. We don't make you fill out a form. You don't even have to explain. How long does delivery take?
Next-day delivery is standard on all UK orders placed before 5:00 PM. Order after 5:00 PM and your order ships the next working day. Free UK shipping is included on every order. We ship from Scotland and use tracked next-day couriers, so you'll get a tracking link the moment your order leaves the workshop.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we ship to the EU and selected international destinations. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. CBD regulations vary by country, so please check your local rules before ordering.
Is it tested?
Yes. Every batch is third-party tested for CBD content, purity, and contaminants. The Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the current batch is available on request, just email us. We believe full transparency is the only way to do this right.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. The formula is gentle enough for facial skin, including around the eyes. Many customers use it as a facial moisturiser and report great results, especially for dry patches, redness, and irritation. If you have very oily or acne-prone facial skin, patch-test on a small area first, coconut oil is comedogenic for some people.
